This six week group provides a safe space to go deeper in processing and practicing the complexity of navigating healthy, individuated boundaries.

Why attend Boundaries 202? Transformation and healing in our lives occurs not merely through learning about healthy concepts and skills, but having a regular opportunity to practice the application of new concepts and skills. This group is designed to be a safe and structured container for practicing how to organize your own emotions, needs and priorities, how to navigate negotiation and compromise, how to respond to triggering communication in a regulated way, and how to remain clear about what is your responsibility and what is not.

Group Objectives:

  • Practice differentiating protected strategies (poor boundaries) from individuated strategies (healthy boundaries).
  • Practice organization of your own emotions, perceptions, values, and needs to increase clarity about how to make requests and respond to requests.
  • Practice active listening and understanding of differences between yourself and others.
  • Practice using connecting (versus self-protected) communication skills.

**For clients who have previously completed Trauma 101, Relationships 101, or Boundaries 101/Book Club.
